V for volume (A to Z blogging challenge)

Along the lines of my last post--units of measurements, this goes along with it: volume.  Volume is the quantity of three-dimensional space and, just like lines or distances, it has units of measurement too.  Cubic mL, teaspoons, pints, and others might sound familiar.

We often measure fluid volume.  The easiest way to teach volume is make a simple recipe.  We wanted to make Play dough but we got sick at our house and have been trying to get better all weekend.  I found a recipe at kiddinaround.com that we were super excited to try.  In the recipe the kids will use volume measurements of cups, teaspoons, and tablespoons.

If we do get around to making it I will post a picture then : )
