I am not currently teaching, but I'm busy raising kids while doing blogging and writing children's books to share my creativity.
This week I got to transplant this tangerine bush from its struggling location to a more open spot (I hope it does better there.)
Had my dog's first dog training session today : ) He was already pretty good, but he is showing off with excellent behavior now...
Got new tires on the minivan today--only after waiting at Costco for a little over 3 hours today with toddler and baby (I am fortunate they had the tires because usually they are special order. Thank you to whoever ordered them and cancelled their order!) Luckily my flat happened close to my house last night and not in some other inconvenient place.
I finally convinced my almost 12 year old to cut his hair! We chopped off over 2 inches of wildness and he looks sharp, although he refuses to let me take his picture...
I'm getting ready to go to an SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) workshop from 9-4 tomorrow to make Core Curriculum related materials for my book and any other books I choose to bring.
